The liveaboard vessel M/V Nautica was launched in 2005 and has been built under IMO specification. The IMO (International Maritime Organisation) is a specialised agency of the United Nations which is responsible for measures to improve the safety of the international shipping and prevent marine pollution from ships.
The dive deck area has been designed to be very spacious, with access to a toilet and shower, a rinse tank plus extra storage space for diving equipment to minimize clutter.
Main meals will be served 3 times daily with snacks after each dive. You will be able to choose between Thai or, for less spicy palates, European cuisine. All meals and drinks will be served buffet-style. Water, tea and coffee are available free of charge throughout the trip.
Onboard NAUTICA are two saloons: one located on the upper deck and another with air con on the main deck. A TV, DVD/CD system is installed and includes many DVD/CD's. There is also a well-supplied library. With comfort in mind the deck area is a huge 30sqm which is covered with cushions for reading or relaxing in between dives.
The unique feature of the Nautica is that all cabins can be converted between twin beds or double bed. All cabins all have air conditioning, min-bar, en-suite with hot water shower. All cabins have a lovely panoramic window - no sleeping in windowless cabins under the water line.
