Non certified people wishing to try scuba are welcome on most dive trips but please add 500 baht to day trip prices.  Overnight prices depend on number of dives, please ask for more details.

Choice of Boat for Day Trips

What boat we take depends on your preferences but also the weather and what boats are visiting what locations on any given day.  THEREFORE it is important that we meet soon after your arrival on Samui so that we can discuss in more details and make a plan.

Therefore if you would like more information with absolutely no commitment then on arrival to Samui or in advance please contact us stating (1) where you will be staying (2) under what name the hotel is booked and (3) any active mobile phone number if you have one.

What makes a VIP Trip?

Slow boats are cheapest.  They take the longest to arrive at the dive sites but they have large comfortable dive decks and relaxation areas.  They are great for people who enjoy a relaxing boat journey and/or travelling on a budget and/or enjoy the comfort of proper dive boat. 

Speed boats get around faster and get you back to Samui about 2 hours earlier (depending on weather and dive sites) but entry and exists from the water are more difficult and conditions more cramped.  Scuba gear is stored in the center of the boat with seating either side.

The VIP trip uses new fast catamarang to take you to a large comfortable dive boat permanently moored around Koh Tao.  Thus you get the best of both worlds.  Fast transfer to the dive sites plus comfortable dive boat with hot cooked meals, proper dive deck, fresh water shower etc.

Overnight at Koh Tao

Room prices start from 600 baht for fan room, en-suite, cold water shower. Air Con rooms with en-suite and hot water shower cost 1,500 baht. For those wanting the ultimate tropical island experience we have two room suite directly on the beach, private balcony overlooking the Koh Tao sunset price 2,500 baht.

Koh Tao is a small island with limited resources.  Everyone visiting the island is encouraged to consider the environment and not to waste water or electricity.  Even though you are paying for it please use it sparingly.
