The Fortune is a traditional Chinese Junk boat built entirely from teak wood. The construction was a labour of love for French/Thai team taking 9 months to complete and set sail in 2004.
The Junk is 25 meters long and 8 meters wide and equipped with sail and 380 horsepower engine. She can navigate the Gulf of Thailand all year round and offers a unique combination of exciting experiences and comfort for small and medium sized groups.
One upper deck master cabin plus three lower deck cabins all with with king size beds. All cabins have air condition, AC 220 V and DC 24 V sockets, en-suite facilities, hot water shower, western-style toilet, fresh water tap, sink, etc.
Therefore the Junk can accommodation 8 people in the comfort of private cabins. There is ample room for another 6 people to sleep in the enclosed living area. For people who enjoy sleeping under the stars the large deck could easily sleep another 6-8 people.
The Junk is not suitable as a dedicated scuba diving vessel: there is no air compressor and no tank racks. However, for occasional dives and small number of people provision can be made. Please ask us for details.
